Super Wool® textiles can be supplied with different finishing, i.e. depending on the application that the textile is designed for, we may or may not apply latex to the base of the textile (the amount of latex could vary).
There is also an option to apply a rubber base to the textile. This kind of rubber is extremely resistant to washing and drying in machines and it is anti-slip.
The height of our textile varies from 6 to 60 mm and the density from 200 to 3.500 g per square meter.
We can supply our textiles with or without anti-microbial treatment; however the textile takes on a curly look if treated with it.

Textiles for Mattresses
Super Wool® developed a textile to be used for making mattresses that must be put on the last layer of the mattress, before the final covering textile.
The objective of this textile is to maintain an ideal and steady body temperature all night long.
Due to its ability to absorb moisture, eliminating excessive perspiration, wool provides a pleasant temperature, without leaving a damp sensation, prolonging the period of sleep where the person is totally relaxed.
Textiles for shoes
SW® 2100 and SW® 1500 textiles were developed to solve technical problems and significantly reduce the industrial cost of manufacturers who use sheep skin for shoes.
In practice, we substitute the animal leather for a textile base and we rigorously maintain the best part of the sheep skin which is the fibers.
10 REASONS TO CHANGE THE SHEEP SKIN FOR SW® WOOL TEXTILE FOR FURRING UP SHOES:
1-SW® wool textile is a product that is unquestionably ecologically correct. We use 100% natural wool as raw material, so it is absolutely not necessary to sacrifice animals and our colors are free of artificial coloring.
2- There is no sheep skin exactly the same as another, which when used results to an end product that is not uniform. The textile is totally homogeneous because both the density and the height of the sheep wool can be completely custom made.
3- The wool fiber is a good insulator. In the case of SW® textile you can have a large concentration of wool fibers more than you have in the sheep skin. That’s why SW® textile has more thermal insulating power than the sheep skin.
4- SW® textile uses an anti-microbial treatment of very high performance that protects the textile against bacteria and fungi that give the product bad odor.
5- As the textile can have a larger quantity of wool fibers than the sheep skin, it is possible to get shorter heights of hair down to 6 mm (3/16”) and this without affecting the thermal insulation, which makes it possible to produce smaller sizes of shoes.
6- Industrial cost is so low because SW® textile can be cut using a Hydraulic Clicking Bridge Machine which can cut in piles of up to 10 textiles. On the contrary with sheep skin you can only make individual cuts because only a Small Hydraulic Clicking Machine can be used. With the Bridge Machine the process is a lot faster and economical.
7- You can have losses of up 35% when you use the sheep skin because of its irregularities, but with SW® textile, loss is drastically reduced as the width is standardized.
8- SW® textile is not seasonal i.e. it is an all year round product. SW® textile is used in its industrialized form. Sheep skin is seasonal and provokes increase in price when it is out of season
9- Storage of SW® textile is very simple because it comes in approximately rolls of 15m (49’2”) in length and it is packaged in plastic bags which makes storage possible for an indefinite period of time.
10 - When you check the goods received, SW® textile can be easily checked because for example a textile of 8 mm (5/16”) and any level of density always weighs the same per square meter but the sheep skin has to be controlled individually and in an operation that is extremely complicated and subject to errors.
Textiles for roller covers used in paiting
A very high technology was used by Super Wool® to develop the line of textiles for roller covers used in painting.
Wool textiles for roller covers
Textiles made of 100% natural wool were developed to substitute the use of sheep skin in the manufacturing of roller covers with advantages:
- The production cost of 100% natural wool for roller covers is largely reduced compared to the cost involved in producing roller covers made of sheep skin.
- You have total quality control.
- Homogeneous textiles.
- Density, height and width of Super Wool® textiles for roller covers used in painting are rigorously controlled.
- Super Wool® textiles can have higher density than any sheep skin of excellent quality.
Advantages as the ones mentioned before can not be reached with the use of sheep skin.
Wool has scales different from synthetic fibers and this makes wool to retain liquid mechanically than synthetic fibers which are smooth in nature.
For delivery, our textiles can be cut 73 mm (2”7/8) in strip to be used directly in automatic machines to produce roller covers used in painting.
Synthetic textiles for roller covers
Synthetic textiles for roller covers were develop by Super Wool® to economically attend every type of painting regardless of the height, density and composition of distinct fibers.
Super Wool® synthetic line covers all kinds of painting applications.
Mixed textiles for roller covers
Mixed textiles for roller covers used in painting were developed on one hand to keep the good properties of natural wool and on the other hand the versatility and economy of synthetic fibers.
Bonnets used in car polishing
Textiles developed to make bonnets used in car polishing that can be made of 100% natural sheep wool, either mixed with natural wool and synthetic fibers or only synthetic fibers.
Textiles for rugs
Super Wool® textiles can be used in the manufacturing of rugs for residential and commercial environments and also for bedside and bathroom mats.
The base material is made of polyester mixed with latex to guarantee durability and resistance to the product. At the end an anti-slip rubber base is applied to the rug making it extremely resistant to washing.
The rugs made of our textiles are homogeneous, durable, not inflammable, can be washed and dried in machines. There is no need for the use of any special products in washing.
Textiles for garments
Super Wool® textiles can be used in the furring up of jackets and coats and can also be used in making shapkas (Russian hats), or simply applied in collars and wrist bands to give the garment a perfect finishing (sheep wool=natural product).
Wool has a high thermal power so; it is a great option for winter clothes.
Our textiles can be washed and dried in machines.
Textiles for pillows
Super Wool® developed a specific textile to make pillows. These pillows are made by wool fibers implanted uniformly into a textile base, and not loose in a case.
Super Wool® textile for making pillows is the perfect alternative raw material for those who demand purity and pillows free of any chemical toxically component generally used in the making of synthetic pillows.
Wool is a product that needs no further comments, because it offers countless benefits to your health. Besides being completely not inflammable, it has properties that allow you to keep your body temperature steady (wool has the property of acting as a natural thermostat) and regardless of the weather, it eliminates the excessive perspiration while you sleep. It can be used not only in the winter but also in the summer.
The textile can be supplied in strips according to desired size, to facilitate the process of making the pillows.
Textiles for filling quilts
Here the manufacturer has the opportunity to offer a special product to the market due to unique benefits of wool.
The product was developed with different densities, i.e. the consumer will naturally feel warm and in a pleasant temperature using either a lighter or heavier product.
Wool is naturally comfortable. Its unique structure allows it to breathe. Wool has the ability to absorb body moisture and release it into the atmosphere, maintaining a comfortable and steady body temperature in different climates and temperatures.
Besides being naturally durable, each wool fiber is made of millions of molecules that elongate when they are stretched and retract when they are released. This means that wool keeps its original format and maintains its aspect for a longer time.
Textiles for Mattress Pads
Considering the fact that we spend a third of our lives in bed and concerned about improving the quality of our sleep, Super Wool® developed a specific textile to make a luxurious and special product to be used on the mattress.
The textile has a rubber base that makes the product more durable (resistant to washing) and sticks better to the mattress.
The tri-dimensional structure of wool creates millions of microscopic air pockets that keep the body warm in winter. The unique combination of cells found in wool allows it to absorb up to 30% of body moisture (synthetic products absorb only 4%) and releases it into the atmosphere. And also offers insulating properties that keep you comfortable, with a sensation of freshness in summer, even in those damp nights.
Dampness, cold, bad sleeping habits, stress and inferior quality products can cause rheumatic pains. During sleep our body loses water through perspiration that ends up on bed sheets, blankets and mattresses. As a result of constant movement, we expose our body to cold and dampness. Besides, using inferior quality products cause perspiration in excess. The mattress pad made from our pure wool textile, eliminates this excess because it is an excellent body temperature regulator. It also helps to eliminate pains as it controls the natural thermal temperature.
Prevention guarantees fewer problems in the future as relates to rheumatic pains. Adopting correct sleeping measures, certainly guarantees a more prolonged and profound sleep, without pains
Textiles for baby/child products
Super Wool® textiles can be used to make baby products such as car seat and stroller seat covers, sleeping bags, baby changers etc.
Wool is a natural thermostat that keeps the baby warm in winter and cool in summer, offering comfort anywhere. Besides that, wool reduces stress and restless movement, and promotes sleep.
Medical studies at Cambridge University have shown that products with pure wool have soothing, swaddling effect on babies, resulting in better sleep, reduced stress, greater contentment and improved weight gain.
Studies showing similar results have also been reported in the BRITISH MEDICAL JOURNAL, LANCET and AUSTRALIAN MEDICAL JOURNAL. Results showed that when babies are laid directly on natural wool, their activity rate is lowered producing a deeper, more restful sleep and promoting a faster growth rate. This is especially beneficial for premature and low birth-weight babies. Hospitals in England, Australia and New Zealand have been using natural wool products in their incubators for many years.
Textiles for decoration
Super Wool® textiles can be used in the manufacturing of decoration products. Interior designers and decorators have the advantage of using ecologically correct textiles, because Super Wool® uses only wool fibers as main raw material, so it is not necessary to sacrifice the animal.
The pictures that illustrate this item are some creations by our clients as couch covering, sofa pillows and decorative stools (sheep). Naturally other uses can be developed.
As we mentioned before, the textiles can be washed and dried including in machines, maintaining its original format.
